Thrive Senior Leaders, Jon & Angie Roberts

In 2017, Jon and Angie Roberts felt a shift regarding their future. At the time, they were the Senior Pastors of City Gate Church in Puyallup, WA., having served in that role for almost 10 years. In following the call of God on their hearts, Jon felt led by God to transition their church from what it was formerly known as City Gate Church, to becoming Thrive Church. Today ,Thrive is an exciting, non-denominational. spirit-filled church located in Puyallup, WA. that is truly as much family as it is church. We are a free and spiritually led culture that offers our members the opportunity to discover their identities and practice their gifts in a safe place. If you are interested in being more than a spectator and to develop a deeper walk with God, then we want to meet you. Thrive meets Sundays mornings at 10am in West Puyallup, just off River Road. Thrive Church Encounter Room & Ministry Center

Thrive is located in West Puyallup near the 66th Ave. bridge just off River Road, behind a classic farm-styled house which is also home to our senior leaders’ family. Thrive meets behind it in what we call the “Encounter Room” named for the place we hope all our visitors and family members will regularly and powerfully experience the presence of God.

Thrive Church has a wonderful family environment including our meeting location which fosters a spirit of intimacy and freedom.
